About overhang handling

See the diagram at the left. A standard Elna pattern disc has a small amount of overhang as shown by the arrow. Your 3d printer may or may not be able to handle this.

If you select the option "Ignore", the generated model will include the overhang unchanged, as shown here.

If you select the "Remove" option (the default), the overhang is removed completely. This is the simplest and safest approach.

The "75°" option keeps the overhang but slopes up at a 75° angle, making it easier for printers to handle.

The "60°" option slopes up at a 60° angle, making it even easier for printers to handle, but producing a weaker disc.
